Vienna, Austrias capital, lies in the countrys east on the Danube River. Its artistic and intellectual legacy was shaped by residents including Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud. Budapest, Hungarys capital, is bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest.
Itinerary
Tentative tour Plan:-
Day 1: Prague: - Arrival Prague Airport. Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic, is bisected by the Vltava River. Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” it's known for its Old Town Square, the heart of its historic core, with colourful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock, which gives an animated hourly show. Completed in 1402, pedestrian Charles Bridge is lined with statues of Catholic saints. Meet & assist. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Prague.
Day 2: Prague – City Tour: - After Breakfast. Proceed City tour Prague. views of Prague’s famous highlights, including the graceful Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Prague Castle, Wenceslas Square, and the delightful, cobbled Mala Strana neighbourhood. Learn about the landmarks from the interesting onboard commentary and finish at Old Town Square — a ready-made invitation to explore it independently. Day 3: Prague – Folklore Party with Dinner (Optional Tour) at an extra cost: - After Breakfast. Proceed Folklore party - Celebrate an evening in Prague in traditional Czech style with this 3-hour dinner with entertainment, including unlimited wine, beer and soda. Travel by coach to a typical Czech restaurant and take a seat for an evening of colorful Czech folklore and feasting. Sip on a complimentary glass of Champagne and savor a delicious 3-course dinner of signature Czech dishes as you enjoy a fast-paced show of live music, dancing and singing. Day 4: Prague – Vienna (By Train):- After Breakfast. Check out from the Hotel. Transfer to station (on your own) for Train Prague – Vienna (approx. 4 hours). Arrive in Vienna. Transfer to Hotel (on your own). Day free at leisure. Overnight at Vienna.
Day 5:- Vienna – City Tour: - After Breakfast. City tour Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse we show you numerous magnificent buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the cultural district the Museums Quartier, the former Habsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. Overnight at Vienna.
Day 6: Vienna – Danube Valley (Optional Tour) at an extra Cost: - After Breakfast. Proceed Danube Valley or Day free at leisure. Overnight at Vienna.
Day 7: Vienna – Mayerling - Vienna Woods Tour (Optional Tour) at an extra cost: - After Breakfast. Take an optional tour (at an extra cost) Mayerling – Vienna Wood tour - Discover the Vienna Woods on a half-day guided tour. Led by an expert guide, visit the Mayerling hunting lodge, where scandal once rocked the royal family, as well as the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz, constructed in 1133. Soak up a scenic boat ride on the Seegrotte, the largest subterranean lake in Europe. Then, journey back to your original departure point, spotting Liechtenstein Castle on the way. Overnight at Vienna.
Day 8: Vienna – Budapest (By Train):-After Breakfast. Check out from the Hotel. Transfer to train station (on your own) for train Budapest (approx. 4 hours). Arrive Budapest. Budapest, Hungary’s capital is bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest. A funicular runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town, where the Budapest History Museum traces city life from Roman times onward. Trinity Square is home to 13th-century Matthias Church and the turrets of the Fishermen’s Bastion, which offer sweeping views. Day free at leisure. Overnight at Budapest.
Day 9: Budapest – City Tour: - After breakfast. Proceed City tour in Budapest. We start the tour from the Chain Bridge, pass by the Parliament and take the Margaret Bridge to drive over to the Buda side. We stop in the Castle District and during a short walk we show you the main attractions of the area. We walk to Matthias Church and to the Fishermen’s Bastion (from where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama).
Next, we drive to the Gellért Hill (Citadel) and show you the most spectacular view of Budapest. We then take you over the Elisabeth Bridge to Pest and show you the famous Central Market Hall and the largest Synagogue of Europe, after which we drive to the City Park. We pass by Europe’s largest thermal spa, the Budapest Zoo and the Amusement Park, then stop at the Heroes’ Square (with statues of the most famous Hungarian kings and dukes).
We then take the Andrássy Avenue to downtown Pest, pass by the Opera House and the St Stephen’s Basilica. During the tour we offer a brief overview of the last 1000 years of Hungarian history. The Tour ends in the city-centre.
Day 10: Budapest – Panorama & Boat Ride (Optional Tour) at an extra cost: - After Breakfast. Take an Optional tour Panorama & Boat Ride (at an extra cost) - We drive to the Castle Hill and discover the area of the Royal Palace. We show you the main attractions of the district: Castle Theatre, Palace of the Hungarian President, buildings of the National Library and the National Gallery. During the walking tour you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Budapest. A ride on the Castle Hill Funicular (opened in 1870) takes us to Adam Clark square, from where we walk over to the Pest side by taking the oldest suspension bridge of continental Europe, the Chain Bridge. After this spectacular walk we take a Boat Ride on the Danube (Duration 1 hour / soft drink incl.). The tour ends at the pier / city centre.
Day 11: Departure from Budapest: - After Breakfast. Check out from Hotel. Transfer to Airport / Train station to your onward destination. Back to Home.
