Day 1 Arrive Christchurch
On Arrival Christchurch. The South Island’s largest city, Christchurch is also called Garden City and is the gateway to the South Island. Bordered by hills and the Pacific Ocean, it is situated on the edge of the Canterbury Plains that stretch to the Southern Alps. There is nowhere else in the world where, within two hours of an international airport, you can ski at a world class alpine resort, play golf, bungy jump, raft, mountain bike, hot-air balloon, wind surf, whale watch and visit internationally-acclaimed wineries and gardens. Overnight at Christchurch.
Day 2 Christchurch
Day at leisure . Enjoy a free day at your leisure. Overnight at Christchurch.
Day 3 Christchurch – Greymouth (240km/3hrs approx) - Greymouth - Franz Josef
Christchurch is an entertaining mixture of refined lifestyle and cultural excitement. The route known as Arthur’s Pass was first used by Maori tribes crossing to the West Coast to find pounamu (jade). Today it’s a sophisticated mountain pass, memorable for its scenery as well as its breathtaking civil engineering. Rural serenity and friendly towns lead you across the Canterbury Plains before the road climbs up to Arthurs Pass Village. This settlement is a base for climbing, hiking, hunting and skiing adventures. The road leads further along rushing water, impressive bridges and tiny towns through the misty mountains of the Southern Alps. Classic west-coast river and forest scenery will join you on the last part of the way before you reach Greymouth. Greymouth has a long gold mining history. It’s the largest town on the west coast and is known for its awesome seascapes. The local brewery runs tours or you can catch up with west coast history at the museum. White water rafting, sea kayaking and gold panning
are other things to do.
From Greymouth you drive on State Highway 6 along the West Coast, about 200 km through Hokitika to Franz Josef. Take a trip to the beach and breathe in the fresh sea air. Visit Shantytown (optional) south of Greymouth, it is a reconstructed gold mining town of 1880. Greymouth has a long gold mining history. It is known as the largest city on the West Coast and for its rugged parts of the coast. You can take a guided tour through the local brewery or a white water rafting tour, kayaking or even pan for your own gold. The Fox Glacier is located about 23 km in the south of the Franz Josef Glacier. The glaciers are unique on earth, usually there are no glaciers in this zone and they grow steadily contrary to the worldwide trend. They reach down to rainforest covered valleys at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. Overnight at Franz Josef.
Day 4 Franz Josef Glacier - Glacier Hot Pools, Private Pools - 45 mins
After Breakfast. Proceed Glacier Hot Pools, Private Pools - 45 mins. Overnight at Franz Josef.
Day 5 Franz Josef - Queenstown
After Breakfast. Check out from the Hotel. And Drive to Queenstown. Leaving behind the lush vegetation of South Westland you will travel the hills and valleys of the Haast Pass where roadside walkways provide easy access to a number of waterfalls and mountain pools. Emerge into the tussock country of the Southern Lakes district as you pass lakes Wanaka, Hawea and Dunstan. The fruit and wine growing region around Cromwell leads you to the craggy confines of the Kawarau Gorge famous for its historic bridge and some spectacularly located vineyards. Finish this full day of sightseeing in beautiful Queenstown. Overnight at Queenstown.
Day 6 Queenstown - Milford, Milford Cruise
After Breakfast. This morning we head to MILFORD SOUND CRUISE (included). SIC customers will travel in a five star coach, self-drive customers will travel to Milford in their rental car.
This famous cruise gives you an opportunity to see MITRE PEAK which is just out of the water and mile high. Go exploring with a nature guide in the tender vessels and kayaks. You may see fur seals lazing on the rocks and lots of sea birds and numerous waterfalls. Return back to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at Queenstown.
Day 7 Queenstown - Skyline Queenstown, Gondola Ride

Day 10 Queenstown - Wellington (By Air)
Morning after breakfast proceed for Queenstown Airport for dropping of rental car to board the flight for Wellington.
On arrival at Wellington Airport pickup your rental car from Airport Depot & proceed for hotel. Wellington, New Zealand’s capital, is compact, cultured and full of character. Nestled between the harbour and the hills, the downtown area is ideal for explorations on foot. Wellington is also a major travel crossroad between North and South Island. The main attractions are the Te Papa museum, the Mount Victoria Lookout and the Cable Car. Overnight at Wellington.
Day 11 Wellington - Day Free at leisure
After Breakfast. Day at leisure. Overnight at Wellington.
Day 12 Wellington - Rotorua
After Breakfast. Check out from the Hotel. And Drive to Rotorua. Overnight at Rotorua.
Day 13 Rotorua - Te - Puia, Te Ra (Day Pass) ADMISSION - Minimum time for guided tour is 60 minutes., Adult (90 min tour)

Day 14 Rotorua - Auckland (via Waitomo) (350km/4hrs approx.)
After Breakfast proceed for Auckland, Enjoy your way through farmland from Rotorua to Auckland via the Waitomo Caves. The Waitomo Caves region is famous for its subterranean splendour. Beneath the surface of this ancient limestone region is a series of vast cave systems decorated with stalactites, stalagmites and glow-worms. The trip to Hamilton takes you through prime Waikato farmland. The mighty Waikato River brings a unique beauty to Hamilton city. The kiwi house in Otorohanga is a chance to meet New Zealand’s national symbol. The Waikato River will accompany you for much of your journey north. You know you’re getting close to Auckland when you reach the motorway at the base of the Bombay Hills. Auckland, also known as the city of sails, is situated between two enormous harbours and dotted with 48 extinct volcanic cones. New Zealand’s largest city with a population of over 1.3 million people – is home to one third of New Zealanders.
Waitomo - -General Admission / Admission Included – *Entry must be made according to the admission timings mentioned on the ticket. Service Description: As you explore the two levels of the caves, your Waitomo Caves tour guide will outline the history of the caves. You will learn how formations like the Catacombs, the Pipe Organ and the Banquet Chamber got their names. Stand in the Cathedral, the largest of the caverns with excellent acoustics, and look into the Tomo – a 16-metre vertical shaft created by an ancient waterfall – to see the Waitomo River far below. The highlight of the tour is a boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto. This cavern is illuminated by thousands of tiny glowworms, their twinkling lights creating a breathtakingly beautiful effect as you glide along the underground river below. Waitomo Cave tours operate throughout the day and take approximately 45 minutes. No photography is permitted inside the cave. Overnight at Auckland.
Day 15 Auckland - Sky Tower Auckland, Total Tower Experience Pass
After Breakfast. Proceed Sky Tower Auckland, Total Tower Experience Pass. Overnight at Auckland.
Day 16 Departure from Auckland
After Breakfast. Check out from the Hotel. Drive to the Auckland Airport. Drop off Self Driven Car.

5. Minimum Advance amount (part of tour cost) is taken to process the booking and to secure part Tour/Combo Cost & booking & reservation fees/cancellation charges or documentation amount for Visa submission as applicable (varying from case to case) in case tour is cancelled for whatsoever reason.
6. Given is a suggested itinerary and it may change as per the availability at the time of booking.
7. Extra Bed policy: can be a sofa cum bed / mattress / roll away or sharing the twin bed unless specified.
8. Child Policy: Every Hotel & service provider’s Child Policy is different. Child with bed & breakfast with 2 Adults means he/she will be provided with an Extra Bed which can be Sofa Cum Bed/Mattress/Roll away or sharing the rooms with parents unless specified. Alternately, where its clearly being mentioned Child No Bed/Breakfast(unless specified of any), it states that child will be provided only land arrangement. Breakfast & Bed if applicable, will be payable at the time of check in( as per hotel policy) if not prepaid. 9. Hill stations Bookings within India :
-Hotels in hill stations may not have air conditioning due to weather conditions of the location or heaters .
-A/c in Vehicles will be operational only in plain areas.
10. The prices quoted by the Company in its brochures / quotation are in US Dollars or equivalent in foreign currency (local currency of the foreign country / countries being visited). The Company reserves the right to amend these prices in case of currency fluctuation and changes in various rates of exchange and/or fuel cost before departure, and to surcharge accordingly. All such increases in price in any sector of airlines , hotel, transportation etc must be paid for in full. Even seats reserved on the fare might increase due to taxes or airlines policy over which Skylink plays no role & has no control.
11. Check in / Check out. Most hotels worldwide observe 1400-1600 Hrs. as Check-in time & 1000-1200 Hrs. as Check out time. If the Tourist/Group arrival is before or departure is after the normal check-in or check-out time, the Company is not responsible for additional charges levied by the hotel or travel component supplier and such charges are to be settled by the Tourist/Group directly with the hotel or travel components supplier.

- On Self-drive, client will need to carry a valid credit card for bond and extras to pick up of rental car.
- Credit card MUST be under the name of the customer. Any third person credit card will not be accepted.
