Itinerary

Destination Overview:-
Phnom Penh:- Phnom Penh is the biggest and wealthiest city in Cambodia. It's also the cultural, commercial and political center of the country. The bustling capital offers extensive cultural and historical attractions, including temples, museums and the Royal Palace. Attracting travellers from all over the world.
Siem Reap:- It is the major tourist hub in Cambodia, as it is the closest city to the world famous temples of Angkor (the Angkor temple complex is north of the city). At the turn of the millennium Siem Reap was a Cambodian provincial town with few facilities, minor surfaced roads and little in the way of nightlife.

Tentative Tour Plan:-
Day 1 Phnom Penh Arrival
Welcome to Cambodia! Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed at Phnom Penh airport and transferred to hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for your relaxation and exploration of Cambodia's capital. The city was once considered one of the most beautiful cities in the Orient and despite recent turbulent history it still retains much of its colonial charm.
Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 2 Phnom Penh - Full Day City tour
You will be picked up at the hotel and transferred to Royal Palace, the residence of Cambodian kings. The part of the Royal Palace is also the incredible Silver Pagoda with the floor made from thousands of silver tiles. Then we will proceed to interesting Raung Damrei Museum, visit Wat Phnom pagoda, a 15th century stupa. Wat Phnom, a small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) marks the legend of Phnom Penh City. In the afternoon we will visit the places connected with sad part of the country's history – the times of Khmer Rouge regime. During only four horror years of their rule almost one fifth of Cambodians died. First we will visit Tuol Sleng which was once a Tuol Svay Prey High School. It is a frightening reminder of the horrors of Pol Pot regime now. The school was used as a torture chamber and it is believed that 16,000 people died there. Another place not to be missed awaits – Choeung Ek, once known as “the Killing Fields”. Today a peaceful stretch of countryside, it's a place where over 10,000 people were executed. The remains of some of them are kept in a memorial to remind people of the atrocities the Khmer Rouge inflicted on other Khmers. After this visit we return to Phnom Penh and the rest of the day is free at leisure, best enjoyed by observing lively streets of this bustling city or sipping a cup of coffee in one of its trendy cafes. Overnight in Phnom Penh. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Afterwards, we continue and visit Ta Prohm temple, shrouded in the jungle and left untouched since it was found by French explorers in the 1850s. In the afternoon we visit the Angkor Wat Temple. This architectural master piece was built in the 12th century, took 30 years to complete and represents the Khmer civilization at its grandest.
