Cairns-One of the most popular times to visit Cairns is in winter (June August). This is the peak tourist season. Clear skies and comfortable temperatures are perfect for exploring the region or setting sail in the Whitsunday Islands. From July to August you may even be lucky to see the humpback whales that migrate up the coast or swim with inquisitive minke whales.
Itinerary
TENTATIVE TOUR PLAN:
Day 1: Arrive CAIRNS:- Transfer to Hotel on SIC. Overnight stay at Cairns. Optional Bungy Jump @AUD 164 per person or any option you would like to choose from our list for adventure, wild life or activities. Meals: No Meals
Day 2 :CAIRNS Choice of any 1 Tour **:-
1) a Kuranda Rainforestation
Includes return hotel transfers, Army Duck Rainforest Tour, Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, Koala and Wildlife Park. Duration: 8hrs
Travel to Rain forestation Nature Park by coach via the scenic Kuranda Range. Arrive at ainforestation Nature Park. Enjoy a guided tour through the Koala and Wildlife Park. See crocodiles, wombats, snakes, dingoes and a cassowary, and hand feed kangaroos and wallabies. Have your photo taken cuddling a koala or holding a small crocodile (optional extra).Join the Pamagirri Dreamtime Walk. Learn to throw a boomerang and watch spear-throwing and didgeridoo playing. Watch the Pamagirri Dance Performance in the rainforest Amphitheatre. Army Duck Rainforest Tour with Tropical Fruit Orchard. Travel deep into the rainforest on both land and water on a guided tour. Depart Rain forestation for your transfer into Kuranda Village. Alternatively, you may wish to stay longer at Rainforestation for lunch in the restaurant - all passengers receive $5 off the BBQ Buffet Lunch. On arrival to Kuranda Village, wander through the shops and markets offering local handicrafts, souvenirs and gifts. A must see is the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary with a 10% discount off your entry fee. Your coach departs from outside the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary for your transfer to your accommodation. 2) Full Day Green Island Reef Cruise - 11AM DEPARTURE (Ex Wharf)
Our Cairns reef day tour allows you to enjoy the beauty of Green Island, part of the Great Barrier Reef with a full day reef tour departing from Cairns. Choose to snorkel, dive, stay dry or view the spectacular underwater reefs in our semi submarine or glass bottom boat, or simply laze on the white sandy beach. These are only a few of the many reef and island activities available at Green Island. Our friendly crew will help you to organize your activities to make the most of your time on Green Island. Green Island boasts unique rainforests, surrounded by white sandy beaches and magnificent coral reefs and abundant marine life.
A full day reef cruise departing Cairns at 11.00am allows 4 hours on Green Island and arrives back in Cairns at 5.00pm. "Reef Rocket" is a modern, comfortable, air-conditioned, high speed catamaran. Travel time to Green Island is 45 minutes from Cairns.
Includes Reef tax, Cruise to Green Island by catamaran, Free choice of snorkeling gear or a glass bottom boat tour, Snorkeling demonstration and reef presentation en route to Green Island, Use of Big Cat vessel during time at island as an air-conditioned base, Island rainforest boardwalks.

Day 3: DEPART CAIRNS:- After breakfast, check out CAIRNS HOTEL for CAIRNS Airport to board flight for Cairns. For extension night in Cairns you can choose Tours from Optional. Meals: Breakfast
