Almaty Overview: Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan. The city is still the centre of commerce for Kazakhstan, with the stock exchange and largest banks located there including Kazkommertsbank, which is the largest bank in Kazakhstan, and one of the largest players in Central Asia. The Stock exchange is the largest in Central Asia and is responsible for a large proportion of the Countries economy.

Day 2 Shymbulak Mountains |Walking Tour Of Panfilov Promenade & Arbat Street

1000 Hrs: Visit the Shymbulak Mountains – Level 3 via Gondola
In just 1 hour, you can get from Almaty city center to its highest point (3200 meters) and drink coffee in the highest bar in the CIS using 3 tier world-class Gondola.
On Shymbulak, you can have a great time even if you can’t ski or snowboard. An all-day entertainment for the whole family is provided by cafes and restaurants with excellent cuisine, an observation deck with powerful binoculars that rotate 360 degrees and a playground. For those who want to enjoy the mountain silence and admire the snowy slopes, the resort offers high-class hotels and various kinds of adventure activities such as Zip

Evening walk around Panfilov promenade. The promenade which overlooks the Kazakh Opera & Ballet theatre is lined with small shops, eateries, and cafes & beautiful lights. You will enjoy hearing many local musicians singing songs & playing local musical instruments. The tour will end on Arbat Street with lots of shopping outlets and street entertainment.

Explore the city of Almaty by quickly getting acquainted with discovering major areas of interest – During this introductory tour, you will visit the First President Park, Republic square, State Opera and Ballet Theatre, museums at the Academy of Sciences, Abay Square, Kazakhstan Hotel, Palace of the Republic.
1200 Hrs: Panfilov Park &Zenkov Cathedral
The Park is named and dedicated to the Panfilov Heroes who were 28 soldiers of an Almaty Infantry. Their memories are etched at the fearsome war memorial east of the Zenkov Cathedral which depict soldiers from all 15 soviet republics on the map of USSR. The Park is lush green area and it’s a good place to sit, rest, relax and see the bustling sights of the city.
‘Zenkov Cathedral’, is one of the most beautiful, magnificent, and architectural monuments of the city of Almaty with the height of 56 meters and is in the green Panfilov Park of Almaty. A. Zenkov had supervised the construction of this cathedral in the early 19th century and legend goes that it was built without a single nail. But unfortunately, it’s not true. Although the design is remarkably unique but it’s because of the advanced technological expertise of that time.

1800 Hrs: Visit to KokeTobe Hill
KokTobe is the highest point in the city of Almaty standing on a 1100 m hill at the south-east edge of the city. It is worth a visit to KokTobe because of its panoramic view of the city from all directions. To reach the KokTobe hill, one should take a cable car ride which starts near Hotel Novotel and goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and the magnificent fruit growing gardens. Once you reach the KokTobe hill, you would see the famous 372 m high TV Tower which is visible from far and offers great views of the mountains and the city plus many attractions at the top including many restaurants serving cuisines from across the globe.

Day 4 Green Bazaar + Rakhat Chocolate Shop

If you are among these, who don’t like to go to a mall and prefer the outdoor
market among fresh air and belong to the old-school shopping type, then without wasting any time, head straight towards the Zelyony Bazaar located close to the Panfilov Park in Almaty. Also, known as the Green Market, this market is your typical local market where you can purchase everything starting from meat to spices to fruits to even clothes and furniture. The key to shopping here is that you should have a flair for bargaining, and you can get everything at a very reasonable rate. You will be delighted to see the colourful atmosphere and the variety of goods available. Right next door is the famous Rakhat Chocolate shop. Rakhat which means pleasure in Kazakh is the oldest manufactures of chocolates dating back to almost 70 years. Around 3500 workers work in basically 2 factories, one located in Almaty and one in Shymkent city. They also make chocolates for people suffering from diabetes and their low-calorie products like candies, cookies and waffles are a range among the people and tourists.

Day 5 Charyn Canyon (195 Kms)

1000 Hrs: Day excursion to Charyn Canyon
Charyn Canyon, located 200 km from Almaty, perhaps is the most atypical sight of Kazakhstan, as well as one of the most famous. The canyon extends for 154 kilometres and is located where the Great Steppe ends, and the Tien Shan mountains begin. Charyn Canyon is the largest canyon in Central Asia, and its age, according to scientists, is about 12 million years. The canyon looks amazing at any time of the year!
The tour starts early in the morning as the road from Almaty to the Charyn Canyon takes more than three hours. You will see gorgeous landscape, walk on high panoramas and along the Valley of Castles, among the steep cliffs with a height of more than 100 meters. Here you can take beautiful photos, sip delicious tea at the edge of the canyon and just enjoy the incredible scenery created by nature. Be prepared to spend the whole day on the trip, the duration of the tour will be about 10-12 hours.

Booking Terms For Holidays
1. Once we confirm a package/service offered at the same price or budget shared by the customer without any fluctuation in price (with offered /similar hotels) or may be the case that when the booking is completed in first attempt with client’s choice of services/hotels / including the request for any changes before the confirmation letter is raised. . Thereafter, non-refundable booking/reservation fees with minimum cancellation & amount raised for Visa submission will apply automatically.
2. If balance tour cost is not made as demanded in writing/sms /phone call. Tour package/Reservation(s) shall be liable to release and the package will be treated as cancelled for not paying a balance amount. In case you fail to deposit before the expiry of the cut off/auto release date, we will be compelled to release/cancel the booking as your deposit or advance does not cover the liability or other case may be the supplier would not deposit on your behalf which may result in discrepancy in booking over which SKYLINK has no control. Such cancellation shall be subject to applicable cancellation charges and advance amount collected will be adjusted towards cancellation charges. If advance amount falls short to recover entire cancellation charges there meaning cancellation charges shall be recovered as per the cancellation terms/policy applicable to the booking.
3. If you are comparing a dynamic Online Price with SKYLINK offers, then please be noted these offers are subject to change any moment. Once hotels are confirmed/ prepaid & settled with SKYLINK and the partial/final payment is made by you(Customer),there can be no amendment after booking is closed. Discount offered in quotation will be non-refundable in addition to the cancellation fees as per actuals.
4. Once any reservation is processed/ confirmation letter is raised,, the processing charges ,any taxes , forex conversion, Bank /merchant fees ,Document Charges , amendment & Cancellation charges will be non-refundable whatever the case may be.SKYLINK has no control because supplier policy also applies.
5. Amendment: Once the booking is confirmed, in case of any subsequent amendments prior to travel or during travel will incur a fee as per change. Amendment and cancellation to services are permitted only till certain limit as raised by service providers/suppliers prior to departure date.
6.Please note that SKYLINK will share a time wise skeletal itinerary with you before issuing the vouchers. Once we receive an OK / go ahead from you, the team will then issue the vouchers. -If you or any of your co-passengers misses any service due to unpunctuality, our Company shall not be liable to refund any amount. Neither shall we be liable to refund any amount or pay any compensation/damages for any change in itinerary nor for missing any service due to the unpunctuality or actions of your co-passengers for any delays due to any reasons.
-Guests will share the vehicle with other tourists staying in different Hotels. So SIC Guests may have to wait for a Vehicle for up to 45 minutes. Generally, SIC Transfers operate as per a fixed schedule.

(A)Important Information
1. Our Packages are valid for Only Indian Nationals unless specified or customized for other nationalities.
2. Prices are dynamic and subject to change unless the booking is confirmed , ticketed or vouchered. These are only offers overwhich we will try our best to initiate the process of confirmation. We reserve the right to withdraw the offer at any giventime.Packages are not valid for Peak/Festive/New Year /Indian Holidays Season, Long Weekends (unless specified).Extra/Mandatory Service Charges/hike in tariff are applied by service providers. Skylink has no control over the fluctuation/Hike in Taxes/Cost /Currency or anything Miscellaneous by the Govt of India/any ruling authority. The visual of anysight/tour/rooms selected by you /us as Skylink or our service provider cannot be guaranteed.
6. Refusal or delay in issuance of Visa by concerned Authorities or any Immigration /On-arrival Clearance is a sole discretion of Foreign Embassies & Visa Issuing Authorities over which our Company has no control. Visa Guidelines apply as per Booking Form attached.
7. In case of unavailability in the listed hotels & airlines, arrangement for an alternate accommodation with similar standard &alternate flight option will be made with availability.Your choice is important to us but once the booking is confirmed amendment/cancellation policy applies & also be noted that confirmed hotel can be different from the hotel given at the time of confirmation depending case to case.
8. Extra Charges will be applied for Midnight Surcharge for Late Night or Early morning Flight arrivals/ higher category rooms/Guaranteed Early Check In or Late Check Out . Special Requests are subject to availability or may incur additional charges .These requests can not guaranteed unless paid.
9. Minimum Advance amount (part of tour cost) is taken to process the booking and to secure part Tour/Combo Cost & booking& reservation fees/cancellation charges or Minimum documentation amount (INR 5900) for Visa submission as applicable (varying from case to case) in case tour is cancelled for whatsoever reason.
10. Hill stations Bookings: Hotels in hill stations may not have air conditioning or heaters due to weather conditions of the location. A/c in Vehicles will be operational only in plain areas.
11. Late payment interest 24% per annum shall be charged on all outstanding bills after due date.
12. AMENDMENT: Once the booking is confirmed, in case of any subsequent amendments prior to travel or during travel will incur a fee as per change.
13. Once any reservation is processed, the processing charges ,any taxes , forex conversion, Bank / merchant fees , Document Charges & Cancellation charges will be non-refundable whatever the case may be.
14. All claims, disputes and litigation relating to the tours arranged or co-coordinated by the Company shall be construed according to current Indian laws only and shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts in Delhi only.
15. In case your packages is inclusive of Arrival / departure transfers & sightseeing tours the same shall be provided as per schedule fixed by the /Local Agent/ hotel. However,this may require you to wait at the airport for short duration until all the guests arriving at that time exit the airport.
(B)Airlines: The airfares the company has contracted with various airlines are non-refundable. The company shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the client or any person travelling with him/her for the following reasons:
1. Failure on the part of airline to accommodate passenger despite having confirmed tickets.
2. Change of flight timing or change of route with or without intimation.
3. If in the event that the flight is over booked or cancelled for whatever reason and the client is not allowed/able to board the flight , the client shall not hold the company responsible for the same and no claim whatsoever can be made by client. All incidental expenses arising out of such situation will be payable by client.
4. Seat allocation & meals: Low cost airline do not provide seat allocation & meals .It is chargeable & payable extra.Meal requests are subject to discretion of the airlines . Skylink can only put a request /remark on your behalf but can not guarantee the provision of the same as we in no way control airlines & other service providers.
5. Airport taxes / airline development fees as applicable to be paid over & above tour cost, should there be a rise post the printing of the brochure/quotation.
6. Refund cannot be guaranteed till it is not recovered or acknowledged by us (SKYLINK ) & we cannot be liable to pay on our service provider's behalf unless amount has been credited to Skylink Pvt Ltd by the Airlines or airlines ticket supplier.
7. Above is only a quote and can't be treated as booking unless confirmed & paid by customer - In case of non-availability of given flight, similar options will be provided.
8. Rates are subject to change without any notice. Even seats reserved on the fare might increase due to taxes or airlines policy over which Skylink plays no role & has no control.
9. Few Promotional & all fixed departure fares are 100% non-refundable /non amendable & non-transferable even in case of refusal of visa and immigration or any unseen/ unavoidable circumstances.
10. Baggage Allowance: varies from airlines to airlines.Please reconfirm with your airlines before travelling as it is subject to vary with different airlines.
(C) Hotel Norms:
1. Room (Twin bed / Double bed)/ Seat allocation is at the discretion of the hotel/airlines respectively even it is already specified on the booking . The number of meals including breakfast are always corresponding to the no. of nights booked by the guest. The hotel does not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
2. Hotel has the right to claim the damages incurred by any of the guest.
3. The guests are requested to take care of their personal belongings carefully and avoid leaving them unattended.
4. Mandatory fees/Tourism Dhiram /City Taxes /Tourism Tax/Resort Fees, Security Deposit either by Credit card/debit card/cash may be asked at check in.
5. Meals are pre-set at the discretion of Hotel

E) Liability/Responsibility :The Company is acting as a booking agent for the Hotels /overseas tour operator / travel component supplier and is only a travel agent. The information given in the brochure/Emails is as accurate as the Company can make it. The Company brochure designs are of amenities that are normally available. However, unavoidable circumstances can change due to events beyond the control of the Company. Unforeseen Calamities, Accident, Closure of Borders/Airbase, major roadwork, strikes etc may necessitate route changes/cancellation/postponement. Where & If the Company knows of these sufficiently in advance, Company will notify the Tourist / Group. About these route changes/policies that could also be necessitated due to natural calamities. The Company does not control or operate any Airline, neither do the Company owns or controls any shipping/cruise/coach company, Hotel, transport and other facility or service ingredients, travel component in tour package that to be availed by the Tourists/Group. Since the Company only selects and co-ordinates travel components, the Company shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss, deficiency in service or damage, modifications, cancellations or extra cost if any, caused by any act or omission of the management or employees or any independent contractor of any airlines, cruise or transport company etc.

7. Due to non- payment OR DELAYED PAYMENT, there is a 100% chance to loose a booking without any further notice . We will try our best to provide similar hotel (regardless of category of package chosen).I understand once Skylink starts the rest of the booking procedure on new conditions as there might be a fluctuation in airfare/govt taxes/forex /visa fees/hotel promo deals /limited offers/Peak season surcharge or other countries good service tax/situations
8. Service provider/Supplier policy also applies over which Skylink -Skylink has no control.
9. Refund cannot be guaranteed till it is not recovered or acknowledged by us (SKYLINK ) & we cannot be liable to pay on our service provider's behalf unless amount has been credited to Skylink Pvt Ltd by the Airlines or airlines ticket supplier.
10. Skylink holds its full right to cancel/ refund the ticket/bookings without customer's consent in case of Non - clearance of the payment or any dues pending by the traveller/ client immediately after the issuance of ticket or Confirmation of Tour/Holiday Package( whichever is applicable).
11. Mode of Refund: If /Once recovered, Credit note will be raised which will be adjustable & transferable {{depending on Supplier /Hotelier Policy}} over which Skylink has no control. *Conditions apply
12.Destination(s) / Hotels have been selected by the consent and discussion with the client. SKYLINK role is to suggest hotel / services according to the budget and the requirement. Skylink is not liable for any dislikes and interest once confirmed/paid/checked in /Utilized. Client has full option to check hotel names and its facility through internet or any possible sources over which Skylink has no objection.

A).100% Full Payment to freeze the cost
B).Payment as per Schedule : (For Outbound ) There will be Rs.500/- pp extra towards Remittance +ongoing Currency rate +Bank & related transaction charges payable as remittance will be sent separately for YOU & ACCOMPANYING TRAVELLER to the respective country.To avoid any impact of future fluctuation.PLS BE INFORMED AGAIN to get the package cost blocked by making 100% payment of package cost adjusted at the prevailing TT selling rate as given in Cost or Immediate payable amount under confirmation letter.Else, if you choose to make payments as per Schedule of Payment given in confirmation as partial payment then the TT selling rate prevailing at that time of balance payment shall apply.
I understand that package cost is based on national rate of Forex currency conversion rate US/Pounds/euro etc or depending on the package of respective Country The bench mark rate taken uniformly as forex currency is too much volatile and can not be changed in itinerary / handout frequently. Company takes Bank TT Selling rate on the date of confirmation of Quotation at which the Bank will be making remittance to vendors abroad through Telex Transfer for Tour Packages/Hotels etc. Pls do not get confused with the Inter Bank rate or Currency buying/selling rates being quoted on Currency rate sites or Banking Currency trading site.
14.Booking Form- Terms & conditions immediately applies with effect from the day of acceptance/acknowledgement /confirmation received on the email or wats app whether it is duly signed or not even before making the payment.
15.This intimation supersedes all previous offers by Skylink Travel Pvt Ltd or any verbal communication or offer made by any of our representative.

Tax collection at Source *TCS *As per Govt rules, 5% TCS will be applicable on spends towards International Holiday packages for cumulative spends (within or outside Skylink Travel Pvt Ltd) up to Rs 7 Lakhs in a financial year and @20% for incremental spends beyond Rs 7 Lakhs in the same financial year. TCS Amount collected shall reflect in Form 26AS of the person of which PAN is provided which can be claimed while filling their Income tax return. To qualify as overseas tour program package the package should include at least two of the following:
a. international travel ticket
b. Hotel accommodation (with or without food) / boarding / lodging
c. Any other expenditure or similar nature of relation thereto
-If any of the above is sold standalone will not be covered withing the definition of Overseas tour package for collection of TCS
How to claim your TCS?
Verify your TCS credit: TCS credit would automatically reflect in your Form 26AS on quarterly basis.
Claiming your credit: TCS can be fully adjusted against the income tax payable on any other income such as interest, rent, capital gains, etc.
Claim refund: In case there is no income tax payable, you can claim the refund of TCS amount at the time of filing your IT return.

2.Any charges related to Peak Season /festival/Holiday period/ Chinese New Year/ /Early Check in /Late Check Out/Mandatory Meals/Upgradations of rooms
3.Entrance Fee /Monument fees/Admission Tickets/Guide Charges unless stated
4.Insurance, Baggage Claim & any related charges.
5.Hotel Security Deposit at the Check-In & Resort Fees /Tourism Dhiram/ City Taxes/Tourism Fees are always payable directly at Check in.
6.Luggage truck ,Porterage Charges, Tips, Laundry , Extra Meals, all beverages are not included, these are at your discretion.
7.Intercity surface transfers/ Airfare/Train Fare unless specified.
8.Breakfast /Meals missed due to flight timing.
9.In case Itinerary is blocked with Limited Kms & Hours (especially applicable for Indian Itineraries) :Any extra kms/Extra Hours charges payable extra to Driver /DMC directly by the customer in case the Travelling goes beyond the blocked kilometers limit/Fixed Tour plan/Point to Point ( transportation rates are charged from garage to garage i.e. the starting & ending point of the vehicle) .

11.Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like Covid or any act of God, rail and flight delays, roadblocks, vehicle mal-functions, political disturbances etc.
12.Baby Cot upon direct request at hotel(Prices for cots and extra beds are not included in the total price, and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
Cancellation
*The General cancellation stage may change/vary OR is not applicable if the supplier policy is not protected under the company policy & also if the less payment is received from the customer.Once payment is received, we share a confirmation letter in which Our team will try its best to give you the precise /approx. cancellation to avoid any further discrepancy.
-36 days or more before departure-80% of the package will be refunded
-Cancellation stage-21 -35 days before departure :50% of the package will be refunded
-Cancellation stage-20 days or less before departure :No Refund
-*Non-refundable Booking, any Miscellaneous Services with Non-refundable Charges cannot be counted /considered under the given policy.*No refund will be there whatever the case may be where non-refundable bookings are booked.
